It was a simple matter of need. When you can't find what you're look for, create it yourself. That's how the BuckHawk Design line was born. And it started with something as simple as the Henry Plaid Collection for nursery decor.

My niece was getting desperate. Baby Henry was due only a month away and she still didn't have a look for the nursery decor. Nothing she found available was interesting enough, unique enough, or to her liking. So I grabbed up my laptop and started sketching out her ideas. Simple, with shades of blues and greens, yellow accents. A few alterations later, we had the Henry Plaid.

Then came the brilliant idea (mine, of course) to load them on many home and baby items at . For just about the same amount of money she would have spent on store-bought items, my niece had the nursery decor of her dreams.

But, of course, one thing led to another. In honor of my darling granddaughter, I created the Vivian Plaid. My skills at home decor, graphic artistry and quilt design came altogether to create these
collections. Along with lots more. Nursery decor was the start of something big. The BuckHawk Design line is just at it's infancy, but loving every minute of it.
